Have you ever wondered how you can pray more effectively for the church people? Paul has a series of prayers listed in the N.T. in which he mentions point by point how he prayed for the churches. Philippians 1:9-11 is one such example of how he prayed for the saints at Philippi.
1) That their love would abound yet more and more in all wisdom and discernment
2) That they would approve things that are excellent
3) That they would be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ
4) That they would be filled with the fruits of righteousness which are in Christ unto the praise and glory of God
As you pray for your church, use Paul’s prayer as a guide. And may God continue to encourage and edify our church!
